Delivery & Shipping Policy

Processing & production times

  • Custom saddles: delivery is regularly approximately 3–4 months. In rare cases, production can take up to 6 months or longer. Product pages may list current estimates by model.
  • International shipping: customs inspections can extend delivery timelines and may be outside our control.

Shipping methods & costs

Shipping charges are shown at checkout or stated on your invoice/quote. We ship via major carriers (USPS/UPS/FedEx) or freight when appropriate. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.

Address accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address. If a package is returned due to an incorrect/undeliverable address or refusal, additional shipping charges may apply to resend it.

Damaged packages

If your order arrives damaged, email us promptly with photos of the packaging and item so we can help.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Return eligibility (when a return is approved)

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition you received them (except as allowed under an approved saddle trial).
  • Items must be returned with original packaging and included parts.
  • We require a receipt or proof of purchase.
    Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Saddles (non-trial orders)

  • Cancel within 72 hours: saddle orders may be cancelled at no charge within 72 hours (including in-stock saddles). If an in-stock saddle has already shipped, you are responsible for round-trip shipping costs.
  • After 72 hours: saddle orders cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded without prior written agreement. If a cancellation is accepted, a minimum cancellation fee may apply; custom orders may be subject to higher fees.

Accessories

  • Cancel within 48 hours: accessory orders may be cancelled at no charge within 48 hours. If already shipped, you are responsible for round-trip shipping, and the item must be returned before any refund is issued.
  • After 48 hours: accessory orders are final sale and are non-refundable/non-returnable, except store credit may be offered at our discretion.

Repairs / customized or repaired goods

  • If cancelled after acceptance but before completion/delivery: a 35% cancellation fee may apply.
  • If cancelled or not taken delivery after completion: a 50% cancellation fee may apply.

Refund method & timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the item is received and inspected. Your bank/card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.

Return shipping

Unless we made an error, you are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Trial Program Terms (New / Demo / Used Saddles)

Charges & shipping

  • We charge your credit card for the full amount of the saddle(s) plus outbound shipping at the time the saddle ships.
  • You are responsible for return shipping charges, including insurance, if returning.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Trial timeline

  • The 15-day trial begins the day the saddle is delivered.
  • If returning, you must email ev*****************@***il.com before or upon completion of day 15.
  • On day 16, the saddle becomes the customer’s property and no returns will be accepted unless the trial is extended in writing (email or text) by Evolutionary Saddles LLC.
  • Trial availability, number of saddles offered on trial, and any extensions are determined case-by-case and must be confirmed in writing (email or text) by Evolutionary Saddles LLC.

Condition, damage, and responsibility

  • You are responsible for the safe keeping of the saddle during the trial. If lost, stolen, or broken, the full purchase price is the customer’s responsibility.
  • If the saddle is damaged or blemished, depreciation/repair costs may be charged (minimum 10%).
  • We take pictures before sending and upon receipt; we encourage you to do the same. You must identify and report any existing damage immediately by email.

Pre-owned saddles

All pre-owned saddles are sold as-is; we do our best to describe them accurately, but some details (like leather type) can be difficult to guarantee.

Refund/credit and restocking for trial returns

  • Once we receive the saddle back and confirm it is in the same condition, we will contact you within 1 business day.
  • You may apply credit toward another saddle, or we will process your refund minus return shipping and applicable fees.
  • There is a $100 restocking fee for saddles returned from 15-day trials. However, you will not pay a restocking fee if you purchase a saddle from us within 60 days; the restocking fee can be used as credit toward the next saddle purchase within that 60-day period.

Terms & Conditions

Payment terms for custom saddles

  • Custom goods are made only after we receive (1) a signed sales contract and (2) an advance payment of at least 50% of the purchase price.
  • Finished goods are delivered only upon payment in full.

Chargebacks

If customer pays in full or part with credit card(s), customer agrees they will perform no chargeback on the card(s) prior to or after delivery of the goods or in lieu of Evolutionary Saddles LLC warranty.

Warranty

  • New Evolutionary Saddles LLC saddles are warranted to the original purchaser for 1 year against defects in materials/workmanship under normal use, subject to verification.
  • Materials/work performed on a used Evolutionary saddle after the original warranty expires are warranted for 6 months.

Assumption of risk

Horse activities are inherently dangerous. Evolutionary Saddles LLC and its manufacturers, distributors, and sellers will not accept responsibility for injury, death, damage, lameness, or illness resulting from use or misuse of goods.

Attorney’s fees

In the event of a dispute arising out of or related to the agreement, customer agrees to pay Evolutionary Saddles LLC’s reasonable attorney fees and costs, including appeals.

Governing law & venue

This contract is governed by Wisconsin law. Any litigation must be exclusively conducted in state or federal courts located in Marathon County, Wisconsin, USA.

  • Payment information is processed by third-party payment processors; we do not intentionally store full credit card numbers on our website servers.
